Is the castle open year-round?
The Château de Trouhans hosts weddings primarily from April through the end of November, but certain off-season dates may be available upon request.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
It is recommended that you make a reservation 15 to 24 months in advance, especially for Saturdays during peak season.
Can the venue be privatized?
Yes, the château is entirely reserved for your event to ensure complete exclusivity.
How many guests can the castle accommodate?
The Château de Trouhans can accommodate approximately 160 guests, depending on the layout chosen. We can expand this capacity by setting up outdoor tents.
Is there an outdoor space for the ceremony?
Yes, the estate has beautiful gardens that are ideal for an outdoor secular ceremony.
Is there a solution in case of rain?
Yes, elegant indoor spaces are available to ensure that your wedding goes off without a hitch in case of inclement weather.
Can we bring in our own service providers?
Yes, you are free to choose your own vendors: DJ, photographer, decorator, etc. We do, however, recommend vendors who are known for the quality and reliability of their services.
Can we put on a fireworks show?
Only powder-based fireworks are permitted. "Traditional" fireworks are prohibited by prefectural order.
Is there a set end time?
No, you're free to end your evening whenever you like.
Is there a decibel limiter?
No, the Château does not have a decibel limiter in the reception hall.
How much is the rental fee?
Rates vary depending on the season, the day of the week, and the services selected. A personalized quote is usually provided.
